vekt is a desktop application for project and time tracking. This privacy policy explains how vekt handles your data. The short version: vekt stores all your data locally on your own computer. We do not collect, store, or sell your personal information.
All data you enter into vekt — including projects, tasks, tracker entries, time logs, notes, and team member information — is stored locally on your computer in your system's AppData folder. This data never leaves your machine unless you explicitly enable optional sync features.
vekt offers two optional sync features:
Cloud Sync (folder-based): If you enable Cloud Sync, vekt writes a snapshot of your workspace data to a folder you choose — such as a OneDrive or Dropbox folder. This data is synced by your cloud storage provider according to their own privacy policy. vekt does not have access to this data.
Real-time Sync (Supabase): If you set up real-time sync, vekt connects to a Supabase project that you create and control. Your data is stored in your own Supabase project, not on any Ericson Lab servers.
If you connect Google Calendar, vekt will:
You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar → Disconnect. Disconnecting removes all stored tokens from your computer.
